Funded by the British Foreign and Common-wealth Office (FCO) and UK universities, these scholarships are usually offered for students wishing to undertake a taught master's degree. These prestigious scholarships are awarded to talented graduates and young professionals, to enable them to study in the UK and to gain skills of benefit to their country's future development.

These research awards are aimed at outstanding individuals in the field of science, engineering/technology, medicine and social science. Awards cover tuition fees and living expenses. Candidates must have a first class honours degree or equivalent from an institution of a high standing. Link >>
Funded by the UK's Department for Education and Employment, these awards are offered to students undertaking fulltime research (PhD) degrees. The awards cover the difference between UK and international fees, although some university departments also provide additional funding for fees and living expenses. Link >>
