If you hold a recognized Iraqi government scholarship you may use the BUIC
application form,
which allows you to apply to all relevant BUIC members without
the need to contact each university separately.
You need to supply the following supporting documents:
An academic record in English.
A research proposal (If you are seeking to undertake research)
Results of formal English language qualifications
Two letters of support by professors/Specialists
Your CV
If you do not hold such a scholarship you cannot use this form, and instead should apply direct to the university of your choice.
When complete you should sign and e-mail a scanned copy of the form and copies of the
supporting documents to the BUIC administrator
who will acknowledge receipt by email, check to make sure the form is complete and contact you
if there are any missing details.
Only complete applications will be accepted. It is up to
applicants to answer all questions and provide the requested supporting
documents. The BUIC adminstrator can be contacted
to help clarify any questions you might
have regarding the application form, but is not in a position to
guide applicants through the admissions process or make academic
decisions for them.
Your application and any supporting documents are then passed on to
the appropriate BUIC members based on the indication of preference you
made, or if you haven't indicated a preference you are matched up with
institutions based on the subject area of your proposed study.
Students then follow the universities' admission process and
hopefully receive a formal offer. Your sponsor may require copies of the
formal offers before they can release the funds that are assigned to
the scholarship holders.
